The North of the island is the best preserved territory in Lanzarote, where rural life, crops and towns maintain a respectful relationship with the environment.

Itinerary: During the guided jeep safari in Lanzarote you go on an adventurous tour with four-wheel drive jeeps on partly off-road and experience the north from its most beautiful side. You will visit enchanting places and breathtaking viewpoints. Our jeeps are Land Rover Defender 110 SW --Maximum 7 seats per jeep included driver.

Breathtaking jeep safari in the north of Lanzarote

The jeep safari in Lanzarote takes you through the contrasting landscape of the north and you discover charming villages in the middle of an indescribably beautiful volcanic landscape. The eventful excursion starts in the morning hours at your hotel and you drive with the 4x4 Land Rover Defender 110 SW with 7 seats together with the driver and the other jeeps towards Guatiza. There you visit a cactus plantation and experience very closely how the cochinilla are bred. From the scale insects that settle on the prickly pear, the red dye carmine is obtained, which is used, among other things, to colour drinks, cosmetics and fabrics. Afterwards you reach the village of Mala and pass the oldest cactus garden of the Canary Islands. Continuing north through the villages of Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, you will finally reach Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes, two of the most important objects created by the famous landscape architect César Manrique. The jeep safari through Lanzarote's north includes entry to one of the two sights. You decide which one you want to visit.

You drive along the north coast and reach the famous dream beach Caletón Blanco, which captivates by its crystal clear water and its white sand. Nearby, also in the municipality of Haría, you can visit the fishing village of Órzola. There you have the possibility to explore the small town, which is known for its excellent fish restaurants, to refresh yourself with a drink in a nice café or to eat something. The discovery jeep safari in Lanzarote continues towards the Ye and you stop at the Mirador del Rio, a famous viewpoint on the volcanic Atlantic island. From there you have a magnificent view of the offshore islands of La Graciosa, Montaña Clara and Alegranza. Another stop will be at the viewpoint Mirador de Guinate and the guide will explain the different layers of rock. At the end of the exciting jeep tour in Lanzarote you will cross the original village of Los Valles and the former island capital Teguise and finally reach the former residence of César Manriques as the last point of the adventurous exploration trip.
