Lanzarote Airport (ACE)

Lanzarote Airport is located 5 kilometres from Arrecife, the island’s capital. Near the airport, is the Aeronautical Museum where to can discover the history of aviation on Lanzarote since the first airport was inaugurated in 1946.

The airport, also known as «Guacimeta» after the name of the beach where it is located, is the third airport in the Canary Islands in terms of passenger traffic and the tenth in Spain with more than 7 million passengers a year.  Most of the flights that operate from this airport come from the European Union, mainly from the United Kingdom and Germany.

To get to the airport, take the LZ-2 motorway.

Terminals at Lanzarote Airport

There are two terminals at the airport. Terminal 1 for national and international flights, and Terminal 2 for domestic flights.

Terminal 1: nacional and internation flights.

First floor: Departure and check-in desks. Boarding gates, AENA information, ATMs, Lost and Found ( you can contact them by email by sending your e-mail to acecapuc@aena.es, or by fax, +34 928 846 385) , and tour operators.

Ground floor. Arrivals. Information from AENA, ATMs, lost luggage, first aid, police station, meeting-point, Tour operators, Luggage claim and transfer companies.

Terminal 2: Canary Islands flights

Terminal 2. Arrivals and departures.

There are 49 check-in desks, 17 boarding gates and two parkings with capacity for 1262 cars.  P1 at Terminal and P2 at Terminal 2.

What services are available at Lanzarote Airport?

At Lanzarote Airport you will find services such as free unlimited internet connection, ATMs, information points, a VIP room, medical assistance, a lost property office, a children’s play area, car rental offices, shops, cafes and restaurants and fast food outlets. The airport has a free assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility. To guarantee the service, it is advisable to request assistance at least 48 hours before the departure of your flight. Public transport, at Lanzarote airport.

The César Manrique Airport has intercity buses that connect it with the most populated towns on the island. There are several bus lines that connect Lanzarote airport  with the main points of the island. Thus, the bus line goes to Arrecife every 25 minutes. If you go to Playa Honda, the line 23 leaves every 50 minutes, it also goes to Arrecife. The bus lines 161 and 261 go to Playa Blanca and Puerto del Carmen, respectively. There are two taxi ranks ; one at Terminal 1 and one at Terminal 2.

Please note that there is no Uber service at Lanzarote.

When booking a transfer, you should inform your flight details so that your personal driver can check your flight in case it is delayed. Once at the Lanzarote Airport (ACE), your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name on it.
