Discover the volcanic heart of Lanzarote on a 5-hour South Lanzarote tour designed to take you to some of the island’s most spectacular landscapes.
Travel with our local guide to Timanfaya National Park, home to the famous Fire Mountains and one of Lanzarote’s most extraordinary volcanic landscapes. Follow the spectacular Route of the Volcanoes aboard an authorized park vehicle and discover a landscape shaped by centuries of volcanic activity.
At the Islote de Hilario, you will experience Timanfaya’s famous geothermal demonstrations, where the heat beneath the surface is still very much alive.
But the volcanic story of Lanzarote continues beyond Timanfaya.
We will stop at El Golfo to admire the spectacular Green Lagoon, also known as Charco de los Clicos, where emerald-green water contrasts beautifully with the black volcanic landscape and the Atlantic Ocean.
We will then continue along the dramatic volcanic coast towards Los Hervideros, where the power of the Atlantic has carved spectacular formations into the lava cliffs. The itinerary may be subject to local access conditions.
Our journey finishes in La Geria, Lanzarote’s unique wine-growing region. Here, you will discover how local farmers learned to cultivate vines in volcanic ash, creating one of the island’s most distinctive landscapes and wine traditions. Depending on the day's conditions, there may be an opportunity to taste local wine.
You will also have the option to visit the Echadero de Camellos, where a camel ride can be enjoyed at an additional cost.
A small-group experience in the south of Lanzarote
With a maximum of 14 people, this is a more personal way to discover Lanzarote. Rather than simply ticking off the island's main sights, we want you to understand the landscapes, stories and traditions that make the south of Lanzarote so special.
Volcanoes, Atlantic landscapes, local traditions and wine — all in one unforgettable journey through southern Lanzarote.
Important note
The order of the itinerary may vary depending on local conditions and access permissions. The visit to Los Hervideros is subject to local access conditions.
